About the event

Yoga for Hikers can help improve strength, flexibility, and balance for your time spent on the trail! It can also help prevent injuries and soothe tired muscles.


Instructor, Erin Shiner will tailor this class for those who enjoy spending their days in the woods You will leave class with more physical awareness in the way you move and feel more present to take on whatever the moment brings!


Holding our class in the studio gives us an opportunity to use props and support if you have previous injuries or just need to take extra care of those tired knees!


Benefits of Yoga:

  • Strength: build strength in the muscles used for hiking, like the glutes and calves 

  • Flexibility: improve flexibility in the joints used for hiking, like the hips, knees, and ankles
